About Me: I am a licensed therapist in the state of Ohio. I received my Ph.D. in Human Development & Family Science (Couple & Family Therapy Specialization) from The Ohio State University.
I strive to help my clients work through either routine "life issues" or major upheavals that have a more prolonged impact on them or their relationships. Childhood trauma is often at the root of adulthood problems. We work through the trauma in order to help you, the client, find the freedom and peace we all crave.
My philosophy in therapy is that I "walk alongside" my clients rather than direct their paths. Therapy, to me, means developing a greater understanding of oneself , which then helps with all relationships (home, friends, work, school etc.). As a therapist, I would serve as your "mirror", being as objective as I can be so that you can develop your own insight.
​Most importantly, therapy is a learning experience for both my client(s) and myself. ​
I have had the privilege of education and work experience in both Eastern and Western Cultures. This has enabled me to become more open and flexible as an individual, and therefore, as a therapist.
