About Me: As a consultation-liaison psychiatrist, I get to work with medically and surgically hospitalized patients who have mental health issues due to, or independent of, their reason for hospitalization. I feel passionate about being with people in this setting, hearing their illness narratives and helping them cope with being in the hospital and guiding them through the healing process. I believe the most important aspect of care I provide is listening carefully to what is going on with my patients so that I can best understand how to address their needs.
